How Much Natura Do You Need?

Calculate how many rolls you need

We now have multiple ways for you to determine how much Natura you need to fix your worn, bare area.

VISUAL

You can enter your address into the Google Map tool and then draw a polygon around the area that you want to cover. It will calculate the area and let you know how many of our most popular rolls you will need for your job. You can then email this information to yourself or others and you can choose if you want to share the information with us at Natura.

MEASURE IT YOURSELF

If you know the dimensions, you can scroll down a bit and just feed in your dimensions yourself.

Both are designed for you to determine the right amount of Natura you need, the way you want to determine it. Need help? Call us at 888-965-0135 or fill out our contact form and we’ll be happy to assist.

Find the Right Natura Product for You

Answer a few quick questions to discover which Natura® hybrid pet turf is right for you and your dogs.

How does the Natura cost calculator work?

Our calculator helps estimate how much Natura hybrid turf you’ll need based on the size of the area you’d like to cover. You can either draw your project directly on the map or enter your lawn size manually to receive an estimate for the appropriate number of rolls.

Yes and no. If you’re searching for an artificial turf cost calculator, you’re likely trying to estimate the cost of an artificial grass project or other turf type.

Natura helps with that, but because it’s a hybrid turf rather than traditional artificial grass, your project costs are often calculated differently.

Traditional synthetic turf typically replaces your existing lawn and often requires:

  • Base materials
  • A weed barrier
  • Infill, such as silica sand
  • Nails or specialized fasteners
  • Significant site preparation

Natura installs directly over soil and is designed to work alongside natural grass, making installation much simpler.

No. The calculator estimates the amount of Natura product you’ll need.

Because many homeowners and businesses install Natura themselves, professional installation isn’t required. If you plan to hire a contractor, labor costs will vary depending on your location and project size.

Every project is different, but traditional synthetic grass installation often includes materials and labor beyond the turf itself. Depending on the project, those costs may include excavation, base materials, infill, weed barrier fabric, edging, and pavers.

Natura is designed to eliminate many of those additional installation steps, helping simplify the overall project.

Absolutely. While the calculator is specifically designed for Natura hybrid turf, it provides a good starting point for understanding the product quantity your project may require. If you’d like a more detailed installation quote or have a unique layout, our team is happy to help.

Most yards aren’t. That’s why the map tool allows you to outline irregular shapes and borders instead of relying only on length and width measurements. You can estimate everything from a small dog run to a large commercial play yard.

Not necessarily.

Many customers only cover:

  • Gate entrances
  • Dog runs
  • Fence lines
  • High-traffic areas
  • Worn or muddy sections

Because Natura is a hybrid turf, you don’t have to replace your entire lawn to see meaningful improvements, which brings down the cost per square foot.

No. Unlike many artificial grass or synthetic grass systems, Natura does not require infill. There is no silica sand to spread or maintain after installation.

Natura installs directly over prepared soil and does not require the extensive base materials used in many traditional artificial grass installations. If your goal is to prevent weeds from growing through the area, however, you may choose to install a weed barrier beneath Natura. The right approach depends on your project and how you plan to use the space.

One of the unique things about Natura is that it works with natural grass instead of replacing it.

If grass grows through the turf, you simply continue mowing as you normally would. You’re mowing the grass, not the Natura itself.

If you’d like to better understand Natura’s turf quality before placing a larger order, contact our team. We’re happy to discuss your project and help determine the best solution for your application.

Traditional artificial turf products often compare pile height because they’re designed to mimic a finished lawn.

Natura works differently. Its hybrid design is intended to protect grass while allowing vegetation to grow through, so pile height isn’t the primary factor when selecting a product. The artificial grass blades of Natura are about ¾” long (20mm). For Natura PowerRun these artificial blades stand upright; for Natura PlayZone, they lie down.

The biggest factors include:

  • Your lawn size
  • The number of rolls needed
  • Whether you’re covering the entire yard or only high-traffic areas
  • Whether you’re completing the project yourself or using professional installation

Because Natura doesn’t require many of the additional components found in traditional synthetic grass installation, the total project scope is often simpler.

Once you’ve estimated your project, you can shop the recommended Natura products or contact our team for guidance. Whether you’re improving a backyard, commercial dog facility, or another outdoor space, we’ll help you determine the best layout and answer any remaining questions before you order.
